Hi Girls
thought I had better post to you as I have been off the forum for a few days
will let you know what I have been up to
we went to the panto in Cardiff yesterday to see robin hood (John Barrowman) (good greef I had to close one eye when he brought out his large arrow Razz )
then went to the air-port and nipped over to Cuba to see the club that is booked for us on new years
wow it is lovely
had a word with the manager he is looking forward to seeing us do our turn
he cant wait to see Jean and her chains Eleanor and her deer Doreen and the polly filler as for the rest of you I afraid I told him a fibRollEyes
I told him we would only do our bit in our tassels and thongs if they were dressed in fire/men police/men or George Clooney look alikes and we must have the pole smooth
hope that is ok with you all
let me know
Mary L

That's great Mary, you seem to have thought of everything.

It wasn't nice that time we had the pole with splinters in was it?
I don't think that casualty doc believed Jean when she told him how she got the splinter!Blushing

Laugh Laugh Laugh

Have you started the pollyfilla Doreen? You've only got a week!

Well done Mary. You did well there! Jean does seem to get into lots of trouble what with the unfortunate incidents with the pole and the water. Best to have the pole oiled! Talking about oiled, I think that we should bring our own refreshments as Barbara has a poor memory. We would be upset if something vital was forgotten! You know what Amanda is like without her red! Actually, as we know what she is like with it, best not bring any!

The panto sounds fun Mary. Did you manage to 'borrow' the arrow? Would you want to?

I think that the reindeer may have to be left behind as they still haven't recovered from last weekend. It was down to Kathleen, Amanda and that darned snake!

Don't suppose Julie will be joining us as she seems to be enjoying her job as fairy atop the Trafalger Square Christmas tree: then again it may be because she can't get down!

Looking forward to seeing the haggi again. Hope that they are not in Wilie's sporran. I vote that Kathleen reaches in for them if that is where they are. After all, she does seem to like animals, remember that snake.

Only a week to go girls! I'm sure that with forward planning, there will be no repeat of last week's shocking carry on! Just as well the judge was confused by Mary and let, those of you who got caught, off!

Eleanor x

Don't forget to tint it this time! It was a bit pale looking last week - before it started to crack that is!

I amWink
I need the filler as pale as can be with all the flushes I am having I look sun-burnt
Eleanor when I first set eyes on the arrow I nearly passed out I have not seen one that big for a very long timeBlink
told the manager there was to be no water near the stage
have also arranged for the tree in Trafalger square to be shipped out for the week-end so Julie will be with us
I know Boris (told him if he did not let us take the tree I would let the tyres down on his bike) so he agreed
looking forward to our night out
see you all there at 7 there timeThumpUp

Try not to worry too much about removing the polyfilla when we get home, Doreen. I remember how sore you were when we tried to chip it off with a hammer and chisel last time, so I have packed the black and decker. It'll come off a treatCool Blink RollEyes

Thankyou Jean, that's solved a problem for me.

I have a feeling Julie is just attention seeking by pretending to be stuck on the tree. She's probably just waiting for the fireman to rescue her but they are busy at the moment helping Eleanor with the wheeled commode.
She really IS stuck, that's for definite!LOL RollEyes

I was attention seeking at first being up this tree (being only 4 foot 11 I liked the view) - unfortunately am getting a bit hungry now - not to mention alcohol withdrawal symtoms so can you hurry up with the travel arrangements please? Maybe you could build some steps from the Polyfilla that Doreen and Mary have chipped off to get me down!

Think Carmen Miranda for my OUTFIT! Off to Dartford Market tomorrow to get enough fruit for my head and, wait for this girls, I'll have a ready made stash for the drinks. Fancy a slice of oranse for your vodca! I'll just bend down! Good or what!

Barbara! We may have to sack you! What else have you to remember! Pernod and whatever else was requested by the forum friends! Julie, please dress warmly this week as it is no wonder you were stuck up that tree! Folk thought that if you had a bulb heating up your nether regions you would at least be warm!

Doreen, try not to watch any funny films or your plaster of paris will crack!

Mary, have you let the firemen go? Have you got a roof for the attic yet? Will you get away tomorrow with all the snow that you are having. I wonder if we will get to Edinburgh to collect the haggi? Has anyone contacted the bowling club so that Willie knows to have them ready? Second thoughts, best not in case he does a runner.

Kathleen, what are you doing about that blasted snake? Hope that you have a snake sitter after the performance with the reindeer.

Jean: I hope that the chains are not coming out! Come to that, have you used the nice rollers that I sent for your hair as a nice curl is better than that Mohican. No wonder you were arrested! Best behaviour now!!!!

Amanda: where are you? What arrangements for picking you up can we make? The old tin tray is out of service as Jenni dented it on the policeman's head before she took off with Dr Who!

Jenni: I hope that your outfit is organised. You do suit a nice blue!

Getting excited about tomorrow night girls!!!
